Spring Registration is now Open!

SPRING BASEBALL registration opens on November 1, 2021. Regular registration CLOSES ON JANUARY 1st, 2022 at midnight for AAA, Majors, 50/70 and Jr's and January 21 for AA, A and Tball. All registrants after January 1st, 2022 will be assessed a fifty dollar ($50) late registration fee. If you need to request a scholarship, please do so in writing prior to January 1, 2020 by emailing us at [email protected] Scholarship play cannot be guaranteed for registrants who miss the January 1st deadline.        
 
League wide assessments will be held on Saturday January 12th with an assessment make-up date of Sunday January 16th only for those players who were UNABLE to attend the January 12th assessment. Please put these dates on your calendar now. League age 9-14 players who do not participate in the assessment process are prohibited from participating the Little League International All Star Tournament at the end of the season. Players younger than 9 years old DO NOT NEED TO ATTEND ASSESSMENTS. Players age 9-14 who wish to be considered for All Star Tournament Play at the end of the regular season will need to submit availability commitment forms, proof of residence and a certified birth certificate prior to the start of All Star Practices in early June. If you would like your player to be considered for an All Star team please plan on having him or her available between June 5th and July 15th for All-Star tournament play.      
 
Coach and teammate requests are accepted in the T-Ball, Single A and Double AA divisions. Coach requests and teammate requests are NOT accepted at AAA level and above. T-Ball teams typically play one game a week on the weekend. Single A and above teams typically play 2 games per week. The regular season will begin on OPENING DAY March 19th, 2022 and the regular season will go through June 11th at the upper divisions.    
 
Managers selections will be made in early January by the Hangtown Little League Board of Directors. If you would like to manage or coach a Little League team this spring please submit your request in writing via email to Hangtown Little League at [email protected]   
 
T-BALL---$150 Plus $100 Refundable Volunteer Deposit
 
Hangtown Little's T-Ball program is designed for NEW players between the ages of 4-6 years old. The basics of running, fielding and hitting will be taught and players will typically practice one day a week and play one game a week with games starting around March 19th and going through June 11th.  Coach requests and teammate requests are accepted at this level and we will attempt to honor all requests whenever possible but no teammate or coach requests can be guaranteed. 
 
MINOR A - COACH PITCH---$150 Plus $100 Refundable Volunteer Deposit
 
Hangtown Little's Coach Pitch Minor A program is designed for NEWER players between the ages of 6-8 years old. The basics of running, fielding and hitting will be taught along with the fundamental rules of Little League Baseball. Coaches will pitch to the batters. Minor A teams typically play 2 games per week with games starting around March 19th and going through June 11th.  Coach requests and teammate requests are accepted at this level and we will attempt to honor all requests whenever possible but no requests can be guaranteed.  
 
MINOR AA - PLAYER PITCH---$175 Plus $100 Refundable Volunteer Deposit
 
Hangtown Little League's Minor AA program is designed for players who have played either T-Ball or Minor A in the past and are between the ages of 7-8 years old. Minor AA is the first level where pitching is taught and players hit kid pitching rather than from a coach pitcher or off of a tee. The basics of running, fielding and hitting will be taught along with the fundamental rules of Little League Baseball in a semi-competitive atmosphere. Coach requests and teammate requests are accepted at this level and we will attempt to honor all requests whenever possible but no requests are guaranteed.  Minor AA teams typically play 2 games per week with games starting around March 19th and going through June 11th   
 
MAJORS AND MINOR AAA ---$200 Plus $100 Refundable Volunteer Deposit
 
Hangtown Little League's Majors and Minor AAA programs are competitive divisions designed for players ages 9-12 years old. All players age 9-12 who resister for these levels must participate in a league wide assessment process and then be drafted onto a AAA or Majors team. League age 12 players must be drafted onto a MAJORS team and league age 11 players must be drafted either onto either a AAA team or a Majors team. Player who are younger than league age 11 can register and participate in the assessment process but they will only be placed on a AAA or a MAJORS team if selected during the draft process. Players younger than league age 11 who are not drafted onto a AAA or MAJORS team will be placed on a AA team.

50/70 COMPETITIVE DIVISION---$225 Plus $100 Refundable Volunteer Deposit
 
Hangtown Little's 50/70 Division is a competitive program designed for players ages 12-13 years old. 50/70 Division home games will be played at Lotus Park and the 50/70 division teams will travel down the hill to play 50/70 division teams from other local Little League's throughout the regular season. All players age 12-13 who resister for this level must participate in a league wide assessment process and then be drafted onto a 50/70 team. League age 13 players who are NOT drafted to play on a 50/70 team will be drafted in the Juniors Division and play at that level. 
 
League age 12 players who are NOT selected to play on a 50/70 team will be entered into the Majors draft.  League wide assessments will be held on Saturday January 22nd with an assessment make-up date of Sunday January 23rd only for those players who were UNABLE to attend the Saturday January 22nd assessment. Please put these dates on your calendar now. League age 12-13 players who do not participate in the assessment process are prohibited from participating the Little League International All Star Tournament at the end of the season. If you would like your player to be considered for an All Star team please plan on having him or her available between June 5th and July 15th for All-Star tournament play.

JUNIORS DIVISION---$225 Plus $100 Refundable Volunteer Deposit
 
Hangtown Little League's Juniors Division is a competitive program designed for players ages 13-14 years old. Juniors Division home games will be played at Pleasant Valley School and Juniors division teams will travel down the hill to play Juniors division teams from other local Little League's throughout the regular season. All players age 13-14 who resister for this level must participate in a league wide assessment process and then be drafted onto a Juniors team. League wide assessments will be held on Saturday Saturday January 22nd with an assessment make-up date of Saturday February 1st only for those players who were UNABLE to attend the January 25th assessment. Please put these dates on your calendar now. League age 13-14 players who do not participate in the assessment process are prohibited from participating the Little League International All Star Tournament at the end of the season. If you would like your player to be considered for an All Star team please plan on having him or her available between June 15th and July 15th for All-Star tournament play.    Coach requests and teammate requests are NOT accepted at this level. Players at this level typically play 2 games per week with games starting around March 14th and going through June 10th.
